Trade & Design Consultant - Miami Flagship

Maiden Home is opening its next Flagship Location in the Miami Design District in September of 2025! We are looking for a Trade & Design Consultant to join this new, high performing team and successfully launch our retail business in a new market. This role will play an integral role in providing luxury service by assessing the needs of walk-in clientele in the Maiden Home Flagship, and also help establish and outbound Trade strategy in the Miami market using their network and knowledge in the design industry. This role is on-site at our upcoming Miami Flagship Store in the Design District.
- Own and exceed individual sales targets, as set by the leadership team, while contributing to overall gallery performance.
- Manage walk-in traffic and inbound requests and follow up accordingly to close sales and orders.
- Work with Flagship leader to build outbound Trade program approaches and strategies, specifically taking advantage of slower traffic cadences.
- Own and exceed sales targets across Trade and Interior Design channels, contributing to overall gallery performance through expert guidance and tailored service.
- Establish and maintain a self-driven clientele development strategy through outreach, relationship-building, and tailored service.
- Develop and maintain expert-level product knowledge across the full Maiden Home assortment, including materials, construction, customization options, and care—enabling confident and informative client guidance.
- Develop and maintain a high-quality pipeline of trade and design clients through strategic outreach, networking, and project support.
- Provide thoughtful and responsive post-purchase support, collaborating with the Client Experience and Operations teams to resolve any service issues with empathy and efficiency.
- Uphold showroom standards by maintaining a welcoming, organized, and visually inspiring environment throughout the day.
Requirements
- Multiple years of experience within a Design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail/fashion preferred
- Art, Architecture or Interior Design and relevant experience preferred
- Strong existing network of trade and interior designers
- Entrepreneurial spirit and approach to building a book of business

- Proficiency with Mac Operating System, IOS devices, Microsoft Office and Google Applications
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 25 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques
- Ability to maneuver effectively around Gallery floor, stock room and office.
- Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing.
- Licensed to drive preferred.
Anticipated Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000
